This Privacy Policy applies to mobile applications developed and published by 97 Transport Pty Ltd, including BigRig Ledger, BigCity Ledger, BigVan Ledger and current and future applications published by 97 Transport, on Apple, Android and other supported platforms.
It also applies to future versions of these applications and other future 97 Transport applications that link to this Privacy Policy. If an application introduces a substantially different way of handling personal information, this policy will be updated before that feature is introduced.
Our applications are designed with privacy in mind.
97 Transport does not operate a server or database that receives and stores your operational application records.
Information you enter into our applications is intended to remain under your control on your device and, where supported and enabled, within your personal cloud-storage account.
97 Transport does not collect, receive, monitor or store your application data, personal records or location information on its own servers. The apps are designed so that your records and location information remain on your device and/or in the personal cloud service associated with your own account.
97 Transport does not have access to your private fleet, vehicle, caravan, maintenance, fuel, inspection, defect, compliance, trip, fatigue or other operational records.
We do not sell your information, use your operational information for advertising, or use your operational records to build profiles about you.

This information is used by the application to provide its functions and generate records, reports and exports requested by the user.
Current and future applications may use the device's GPS/location services when the user chooses to use a relevant location-based feature.
Where a location feature is provided, GPS information is used locally by the application for the function selected by the user and may assist in recording information such as journeys, locations, movement, driving, work or stationary periods, depending on the feature being used.
GPS/location information is not transmitted to 97 Transport. 97 Transport does not remotely monitor, track, collect or receive the user's location or trip history.
Users can manage location permissions through the settings of their device. Disabling location services may prevent GPS-based features from operating.
GPS-assisted features are provided as record-keeping aids. They do not replace the user's responsibility to understand and comply with applicable fatigue-management, driving-time, road, travel or other legal requirements.
Where an application allows the user to attach photographs or other content to records, that content forms part of the user's application data.
97 Transport does not receive those photographs or attachments unless the user deliberately chooses to share them with 97 Transport through a separate communication.
Application information may be stored on the user's device and, where supported and enabled, within the user's personal cloud account.
For Apple versions of our applications, this may include Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services. Private CloudKit data associated with the user's account is not accessible to 97 Transport.
Android versions may use the applicable device or cloud-storage and synchronisation services supported by the application. The privacy policies and terms of those platform providers also apply to their services.
97 Transport does not maintain a separate copy of your operational application records on its own servers.
97 Transport does not sell, rent or trade your application information.
We do not provide your operational records to advertisers, marketing companies, data brokers, other transport or caravan operators, or unrelated third parties.
The applications may rely on platform and technology providers required to operate the applications, such as Apple, Google and their associated services. Those providers operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
Our applications do not contain advertising intended to create user profiles.
97 Transport does not use the applications to track users across unrelated websites or applications.
We do not sell personal information for advertising purposes.
The Apple App Store, Google Play and the operating systems on which our applications operate may provide developers with limited technical or diagnostic information.
This may include information such as application crashes, errors, device or operating-system information and application performance information.
Where such information is provided to 97 Transport by Apple, Google or another platform provider, it may be used to identify application problems, improve stability, fix software defects and improve performance.
97 Transport does not use such technical information to access or reconstruct your private operational records.
97 Transport does not maintain a central database containing users' operational application records.
Your records therefore remain available according to the storage and retention arrangements of your device and any cloud-storage service used by the application.
Deleting application data, deleting an application or managing cloud-storage data may affect the availability of your records. Users should maintain their own appropriate backups and exports where their records are important.
Because 97 Transport does not maintain a copy of your operational application records, we generally cannot access, modify or delete those records on your behalf.
Users can manage their own records using the application's functions and the storage facilities provided by their device and applicable cloud service.

Our applications are intended for general audiences and are not specifically directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of creating user profiles or advertising profiles.
97 Transport takes reasonable steps to protect information under its control.
Because operational application records are designed to remain on the user's device and/or within the user's personal cloud-storage service, users should also protect their devices and associated accounts using appropriate security measures such as device passcodes and account authentication.
97 Transport does not operate a server containing users' operational application records and therefore does not ordinarily disclose those records to overseas recipients.
However, the applications may rely on platform and technology services provided by companies such as Apple and Google. Those companies may process information in countries outside Australia according to their own terms and privacy policies.
